Law of Sex: more than gender.
The Law of Sex does not primarily refer to the physical differences between men and women, but rather to two universal forces or energies present on physical, mental, and spiritual levels, often described as masculine and feminine energy. Both energies are omnipresent and essential for creation. The Law of Sex is about the two fundamental primal forces in the universe: the masculine, outward-directed force and the feminine, inward-directed force or movement. Through these forces, people are able to create and manifest. This is not about gender identity, but about universal principles that are present everywhere and in everyone. Everything in the universe consists of feminine and masculine energies, or Yin, the feminine, and Yang, the masculine energy, where the masculine stands for positive and the feminine for negative. Norma Milanovich and Shirley McCune say about this: “They are always in contrast with and complementary to each other. These definitions do not describe oppositions but imply a continuous flow of energy” (2017, p.127). The thought may arise that there is polarity, but the opposite is true. “Everything on Earth and in the universe does not consist of two things, but of only one thing, and that one thing is energy. Energy is composed of positive and negative particles; this is, however, not the same as being composed of polarities.”

A different perspective on the law.
Willem Glaudemans (2015) has a different perspective on the Law of Sex, and speaks of two primal forces, according to the author the name “Law of Sex” arises from our projection. According to him, at an absolute level of creation, there is no male or female. This is for the information of the interested reader.

Sex relates to a division of labour or effort required for all creativity. It is found in both organic and inorganic matter, and in the operation of heat, light, electricity, magnetism, attraction, repulsion, and so forth. In each of these cases, both masculine and feminine energies are essential: the masculine energy focuses on the feminine energy and initiates the creative process. The feminine energy does the active work; this applies on every plane. On the mental plane, we are the manifested Law of Sex. Although male and female bodies and brains differ significantly, all genders have the need and capacity to use both masculine and feminine energies. Both must be present in the creation process, and both sexes must develop these faculties.

Two forces in equilibrium.
Everyone, regardless of gender, possesses both masculine and feminine energies. Both energies are present in every sub-particle of ourselves and the universe. Qualities attributed to feminine energy include: gentleness, patience, humility, self-control, wisdom. Feminine energy is reflective and supportive, with a focus on connection and nurturing. Qualities attributed to masculine energy include: analytical ability, logical thinking, and assertiveness. Masculine energy is clear and outward-focused, with a focus on action and results. In creative processes, initiating ideas is linked to masculine energy, while connecting and merging the idea requires feminine energy, such as receptivity and creativity. For creation to come into manifestation, both energies are equally necessary. The application of the law is found in our thoughts, words, emotions, and actions, in which it is important to have a balance between feminine and masculine energies in everything. As always, it is about development: the ability to apply both types of energies, depending on what a situation calls for.

Balance as the key to the Self.
Every form of creation begins with a thought. This idea arises from the masculine energy, which provides direction and takes initiative. It is then attracted by the receptive feminine energy and further developed by creative and integrating power. Both energies are essential for realising plans. Only through collaboration are ideas realised. Those who recognise and balance both energies within themselves achieve a state of mental equilibrium and act more effectively. The Law of Sex is about balancing these two primal forces, with the aim that everyone can eventually become androgynous. Everyone will be placed in situations that offer us the experiences we need to learn. Once balance is achieved, the Higher Self can integrate into the lower eight bodies of our aura.
