4. Law of Action

Dreams manifest themselves when you act in line with your vision, supported by trust and perseverance.

Acting with wisdom.

The Law of Action concerns our actions being in accordance with our thoughts, dreams, emotions, and words. The law also states that one must always act to move from creation to manifestation. When we conceive a creation, whether for ourselves or for the highest good of all, we support it with a plan, vision, or ideal image. The Law of Action states that all our actions must be in line with the plan or vision that has been made. Trust, faith, perseverance, and the ability to remain true to our dreams are important ingredients for success. This sounds logical, but it is often difficult to act in line with the set goals. We get distracted by things we think need doing. Success arises when we continue to act in line with our vision, even when we doubt or encounter obstacles. From my own experience, I know that a creation can sometimes be literally right in front of us, but action is always necessary. The most beautiful results arise when we follow our creation and it seems as if each subsequent action is exactly the right one.

Action should lead to wisdom
The Bhagavad Gita.

N. Milanovich and S. McCune say the following about God-Power:

The generation of the inner Light, the living of a life connected to the Higher Self, the putting into action of what you desire from within, and the practice of discipline and willpower are the factors that allow the God-Power to work through you. Become one with this power and the will of God will become one with you.
(N. Milanovich & S. McCune, 2017 p.174)

Before action can be taken.

Before we apply the Law of Action, there is an idea, a thought, and from that thought, a beautiful dream can arise. When we want to make this dream a reality, in the third dimension, the world of duality, action must always be taken; action must be undertaken. This sounds logical, but for our dreams to come true, a change must take place in our behaviour and in our thinking. The most important question is: what are we truly willing to do for it? Writing down the dream works best for me; from head to paper. When we put our dream on paper, we write as if the dream has already become a reality. For example: we live in a house with four rooms and 300 square metres of land, with an unobstructed view, and it feels free and safe, and so on. It is important that once the dream is written down, we also feel it: we feel the freedom, the joy, the excitement of what we have written. The biggest pitfall is that our ego interferes and indicates that for whatever reason it is impossible. We don't spend any energy on this and go back to the initial feeling of freedom, joy and excitement. The next pitfall presents itself: the house isn't there yet. Doubts and disbelief about whether the dream will come true increase. Go back to the letter, pick up that initial feeling again, and don't ask the universe again to make the dream come true. Keep the cup in the air and know that it will be filled; do not doubt and be grateful now that the dream will come true. Remain in a state of gratitude. There is a risk that, while we are busy with our dream, we live too much in the future and miss what the now brings us. The path is always in the now.

Trusting the universe.

The following process is natural: when should action be taken? Sometimes we make a move, for example by letting our surroundings know that we are looking for a house. We must be able to bear this, because some people are happy to point out the impossibility of it to us. What also often happens is that we meet someone who happens to know of a house, or we are offered a job that comes with a house. Or we help someone with something, who then indicates the next step towards the upcoming house. It is important that we do not dictate how it should happen; let the universe do its work. Energy chooses the path of least resistance. So, the point is to act as a logical consequence, in line with the dream. Therefore, the intention is not to start a big search to get the desired house. In the words of Ian Graham: “God is never too late! But never too early either” (Graham, 2009). Once the manifestation is a fact, be grateful. Thank God, or the ALL, for keeping His promise. The pitfall is that our ego claims the success. This can be avoided by realising that:

You do nothing from yourself.
it is the inner Father/Mother
who does it all.

This document is about acting. An important part of this is making a choice, where everyone is allowed to determine their own direction. Albert Einstein indicates in the following quote how important choices can be.

Interview with Albert Einstein.

“A reporter once asked him: “What is the most important question in the world? He replied: the most important question in the world is: do you want a peaceful world, a happy, abundant world to live in, or do you want a dreadful, fearful, and scarce world? The reporter, slightly taken aback, asked: why is this the most important question in the world? Einstein answered: because your choice, whichever it may be, will determine what you will create”.
